- Content you provide: Letter text, author name (if provided), and optional settings such as animations or typing effects.
- Usage data: Basic diagnostics and event data (e.g., feature toggles, ad engagement) to operate and improve the service.
- Device data: Non-identifying device and browser information (model, OS, language, and session metadata).
- Ads: If you view rewarded ads, the ad network may receive device and engagement signals to deliver and measure ads.
How We Use Information
- Create and display letters and previews you request.
- Provide optional AI-generated content when you ask for it.
- Secure the service, prevent abuse, and enforce limits (e.g., view counts, expirations).
- Operate, improve, and analyze app performance and user experience.
Sharing
- Service providers: We use Firebase and cloud AI providers to process requests.
- Ads: Rewarded ad partners receive data needed to deliver and measure ads.
- Legal: We may disclose information to comply with law or protect rights and safety.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Data Retention
Letters are stored with a default expiration (unless “no expiration” is selected). Previews have short-lived tokens and expire automatically. Logs and diagnostics are kept for a limited period necessary to operate and secure the service.
Security
We apply industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child, we will delete it.
Your Choices
- You can choose not to use AI generation or ads; base features remain available.
- You can delete letters by letting them expire or contacting us.
- Browser and device settings may limit cookies or ad identifiers (if applicable).
International Transfers
Data may be processed in regions where our service providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
